How to delete specific data or your entire Sportiverse account

Delete specific data (without deleting your account)

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data you've created in Sportiverse. The following can be deleted individually from within the app:

Granular deletions take effect immediately. Aggregated league standings and historical match results remain attributed to the player profile until the account itself is deleted.

If you'd like data removed that isn't deletable from the app, email privacy@sportiverse.no from your registered address with subject "Data deletion request" and describe what you'd like removed.

Delete your entire account — Option 1: from within the app (recommended)

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Sportiverse app:

  1. Open the Sportiverse app and sign in
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Account Center
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

30-day grace period: Your account enters a recoverable state for 30 days. If you sign back in during that window, your account is restored. After 30 days, deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Delete your entire account — Option 2: by email

If you no longer have access to the app or your device, send a deletion request to privacy@sportiverse.no from the email address registered to your account.

Please include:

We confirm receipt within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with our GDPR obligations.

What gets deleted

When your account is permanently deleted, the following data is removed from our systems:

What is retained, and why

Some data is retained after account deletion. Where retention is required for legitimate purposes, personal identifiers are removed or the data is anonymized — except for administrative audit logs, which (where you took or were the subject of such an action while your account existed) retain your user ID and the display name captured at the time of each action for a short, fixed window before automatic deletion (see the Privacy Policy, section 4b).

Export your data first (optional)

Before deleting your account, you can download a copy of your personal data. In the app, go to Settings → Account Center → Export My Data. You'll receive a download link by email within 14 days.
